*Shine* Feelings (meta-emotions)

😐 ‘I should feel this, not that.’ Familiar, Jen? Holidays = should-heavy. But all feels are valid. Today, notice your ‘meta-emotions.’

Today, remind yourself: It’s OK to feel motivated by your goal to get present *and* daunted/nervous/tired/behind/etc. You’re more than one emotion.

It’s human to feel bad/good/weird about your feelings—especially if they feel ‘off’ for the moment (ex. holidays must. be. happy!). That’s your ‘meta-emotions’ in action.
Next time meta-emotions pop up: Be kind to yourself & get curious. 🤔 Think: What am I feeling? Why am I feeling it? Then, grant yourself permission to feel, even if it feels ‘off.’

Your emotions are what make you human, Jen. Embrace ’em.
